Through a series of Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) and Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) with their powerful after-effects, Shaun Lether woke up to his true spiritual nature and discovered his life purpose. That purpose did not revolve around his four business degrees or accomplishments in marketing, business, and real estate. Rather, his soul’s purpose centered around mind, body, and spirit healing, and being of service to others.
In 2004 while flying from Los Angeles to Hawaii, Shaun had an abdominal hernia incarcerate and strangulate which caused his intestines to begin to die. Four days later he was rushed into an emergency surgery where 7 feet of necrotic intestines were removed. Due to severe infection, his abdomen was left open for 6 months to heal, and he was not allowed to leave Hawaii. Shaun never did go back to his previous home in Los Angeles, but he stayed in Hawaii, where he experienced close to 20 years of trauma, ego death and Spiritually Transformative Experiences. The crescendo came in 2018 with a profound Near-Death Experience which for Shaun was a confirmation and rebirth after a life of trial by fire.
Knowing he was forever changed, and in the midst of a Spiritual Emergency, in 2019 Shaun started a small sharing group to support NDErs and STErs in Hawaii, which has grown to become Hawaiian IANDS, with over 10,000 members worldwide. Shaun has learned that as he helps others heal, so he is healed. Shaun facilitates experiencers sharing groups with many spiritual organizations as well as groups for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Trauma survivors and offers private consultations for NDErs. Shaun also runs several NDE, STE, and Life After Death Facebook groups with a combined membership of over 800,000. Additionally, Shaun is the host of “Near-Death Experiences and Spiritual Awakenings with Shaun Lether” on The Conscious Awakening Network. Shaun is a passionate student and teacher of A Course in Miracles (ACIM), as well as a devotee of Paramahansa Yogananda (Self Realization Fellowship).
